Pitching Clinic for Young Players
Coach Knapenberger sent me this email with a fantastic opportunity for our younger players. Many of the top pitchers in the WPIAL, including the top Knoch pitchers, have Jana Hudson as their pitching coach. She is offering a 6-week winter pitching clinic for young players that have little or no experience. Ideally, this would be 8U players moving into 10U that have an interest in pitching. I would say any 10U pitcher would be eligible to attend as well, because I doubt that there’s a lot of 8U parents out there looking for pitching instruction before their kid is even given the chance to pitch. Either way, this could be an amazing experience for a young pitcher!!
Former 1st Team All-American and South Carolina Gamecock, Jana Hudson will be hosting a 6-Week Winter Pitching clinic for beginners only! For those of you who do not know Jana. Jana has over 20+ of training experience paired with a very high success rate with her pitchers. Jana has trained a Gatorade player of the year (Alexa Bryson) and over 100 college and college-bound pitchers (most recent high profile player, Morgan Ryan – 2017 Notre Dame Commit)
The 6-Week clinic will be held at the ERA Sports Facility in Latrobe, PA. Jana has requested that players have limited to no experience with fast pitch pitching (ages 8-10).
